Komedia is one of Brighton’s best-loved entertainment venues, presenting a huge programme of performances with over 700 events a year, spanning of comedy, music, club nights, cabaret, children’s shows, spoken word and more.

This venue, in the heart of the North Laine, is home to some of the most popular comedy shows in the south east; Komedia Comedy Club, Comic Boom and Bent Double and they can also boast winning the Chortle Comedy Award for Best Venue in the South a record 17 times.

Komedia is also an at the forefront for live music, being a regular feature of The Great Escape.

Enjoy two exciting, vibrant performance spaces when you visit, with flexible set-ups and a kitchen serving freshly prepared food at most seated shows.

Picturehouse also operate the Duke’s at Komedia Cinema upstairs.

    Serving a small but delicious selection of dishes for those looking to dine at most seated shows in the Basement Space, Komedia serve everything from beef brisket buns and cauliflower burgers to a salt and pepper squid and mac and cheese bites. Also, don't forget to try their famous Komedia Nachos! Meals can be bought in combination with show tickets to save money. Main meals are £13, with starters from just £4.
