Description
Whilst Marwood is renowned as one of Brighton's most quirky coffee endeavours and brunch hot-spots in the heart of The Lanes, it's also a luscious evening hideaway for broody tipples and charming banter.
Two cosy floors of unadulterated oddities. A mish-mash of pop culture collectibles, ceilings of Star Wars memorabilia, walls adorned in jumbled frames, furniture made of just about anything and vintage wares; and breath. Shimmy out back to discover a bunting clad, brick courtyard brimming with dated wares, junkyard collectibles and comic book murals; just the ticket for tipples and coffee in the sun alike.
Whilst the beer and wine menu might be petite, it's not extortionate, brimming with classics and the atmosphere is lovingly cumbersome. From broody couples and swooning in the garden to the humble buzz of friends, a drink at the Marwood is not for those after a ruckus or a doozie in the dance floor, but it's certainly a dapper destination for laid back tipples and chats into the evening.
