Six traders will be competing for the crown of best chicken wing crafters.

Chicken fans rejoice, for the mecca of wing-based festivities is coming to Brighton. June 9th will see the illustrious Proud Country House play host to the Brighton Wing Fest, a whole day of delicious wings from six of the UK's best chicken connoisseurs who will be looking to win over your taste buds, and be crowned cream of the chicken crop.

Alongside all the eating action, there'll be DJs on site playing you the very best in Hip Hop, Soul, Funk and Reggae, while Proud Country House will be opening up the bar to serve up some tasty cocktails and craft beers to wash down those wings.

Organisers Taste & Liquor are known in their native Birmingham for their large-scale food fests and will be bringing their expertise down to the South Coast for the first time. From crispy fried offerings, to classic buffalo wings and juicy, slow-roasted spicy ones, all you need to do is turn up, taste test the goods, and cast your vote for the ultimate wing.

The Brighton Wing Fest takes place on June the 9th from 1pm - 8pm at the Proud Country House, Stanmer Park, BN1 9QA Brighton. Tickets start from £5.
