One of Brighton's most iconic venues returns this Spring: The Spiegeltent, a European mirror tent lands in our fair town to host some of the most spectacular cabaret and music performances of the entire Brighton Festival. During the month of May, Brighton Fringe and the wider Brighton Festival arrive in celebration of all things creative, curating over 720 events and 3,500 performances across 200 venues. The focus is on grassroots and homegrown talent, with a view to "stimulate, educate and develop audiences and artistic communities"; looks like we've got a helluva lot to look forward to, as the Festival welcomes everything from improvised comedy, theatre and cabaret performances.
The linchpin of this creative frivolity can be found within The Spiegeltent, and quite conveniently, the space hosts three festival bars to keep thirst well at bay. Occupying the enchanting gardens of the Old Steine, the Spiegelgarden Bar can be found in the magical outdoor space, whilst the Spiegeltent Bar is located indoors to host cabaret and music from 11pm until late. Also set to take a starring role in The Famous Spiegel Garden is The Aperol Spritz Social, offering a space for festival goers and performers to unwind with Italy's favourite alcoholic libation in hand.
The Spiegeltent arrives in Brighton between 4th May and 2nd June 2014; The Aperol Spritz Social will open to the public from 3rd May until 2nd June 2014.
