A beer storm is brewing as Brighton plans its first ever beer week. For 10 days straight, the bustling city will be experiencing the best life has to offer – assuming, of course, that life’s best is amazing beer. Starting Friday 24th August, Brighton and Hove will be teaming up with more than 20 of the city’s best beer venues such as North Laine Brewhouse and Brewdog to celebrate the city’s unique heritage and diversity.
Brightonians can look forward to tap takeovers, walking tours and a homebrew competitions amongst other quirky events. Both local and Sussex breweries, including Brighton Beer and Burning Sky, will also be joining in to ensure the tap never runs dry. With award-winning beer broadcaster Emma Inch heading the event, you are guaranteed to find world-class beer being served at every corner. No need to bother with wristbands or finding a central location – the city will be oozing beer everywhere you go. Simply bring your vices, Brighton will handle the rest.
