Food halls have taken London by storm… and now Brighton’s getting one of its own, with space for 10 local restaurants, street food and budding chefs.
Housed within the iconic red brick Shelter Hall on the seafront, the venue's interiors will be renovated and redecorated to reflect a modern audience. Inside, the space can seat 250 hungry diners and will feature two bars serving craft beer. For those seeking a little luxury? They're also promising a Champagne and oyster bar on the rotunda.
While little is known about the specific vendors that’ll be popping up, the owners have promised to showcase foodies from the surrounding area and further afield. There are also plans to incorporate an area designed for local initiatives and activities such as music, art and movie screenings for an extra dose of entertainment with your lunching.
The Shelter Hall is set to open next year on Brighton's seafront, and can be found at the Kings Road Arches, Brighton BN1 2LN.
