What they say:
A lot of the inspiration for this old-fashioned ale house comes from Kent. It was while touring the garden of England that the owners – Rick & Ruth Evans and Dave & Ali White – thought this micropub trend would suit Brighton, and after a seriously hard graft this welcoming new pub is their reward. The goal is to create a laid-back, traditional ale house for drinking and chatting the afternoon’s away.
What we say:
The Watchmaker’s Arms pays homage to the county’s breweries and all the great work they do. Lining their taps with ales from Haywards Heath, Lower Beeding and Bolney among others, this is the place to sample the finest produce on offer right now in Sussex. With a capacity for just 60 and a focus on creating a social atmosphere, it’s going to be a great choice for settling down and wiling away the hours.
