Description
Found just shy of the Lanes and North Laine the like, the Marlborough Pub and Theatre is a gay pub in Brighton known for it's laid back atmosphere, roaring pride parties and entertaining events.
Known for its colourful past and vibrant stories (tales of tunnels leading to the Pavilion and ghosts), this Brighton pub thrives on its small quirks. From it's red flair and traditional pub features to a selection of comic adorned walls and board games, the interiors aren't slick but they sure are cosy; and with a red velvet curtain laden theatre upstairs, the Marlborough also host a thigh slapping selection of events.
With a 60 cover theatre upstairs, it's no surprise that people come for the fun filled frivolities and the independent intimacy of the Marlborough's regular events. From cool cult movie nights and hidden peep shows to drag nights, no evening at the Marlborough is spared a roulette table of unique theatrics and wondersome characters sauntering their way through the bar. Keep an eye out for the regular foodie residencies at the Marlborough too; currently boasting burger sensations Half Man! Half Burger! every Saturday, you'll be sure to get your mitts on some top notch fare.
