Description
One of the best all-day dining spots in Brighton, this unique restaurant is showcasing the finest flavours on the South Coast through its mix of small plates and larger dishes. The food is simple but decadent, fronting everything from warm heritage tomatoes and panko lobster mac and cheese, to sharing dishes of monkfish and pulled lamb leg with baba ghanoush and tabbouleh.
Their interiors speak to the locale as well, with even the staff's uniforms made by Brighton-based tailors Gresham Blake, and art by local makers Weez & Merl. The dining room itself is a spectacle of blues in homage to its name, with ocean-inspired motifs throughout the venue.
The bar holds its own too, with a unique selection of cocktails that are as worthy of a trip all their own, as well as being the perfect pre-dinner treat. Think toffee apple martinis, bespoke concoctions and whisky classics whipped up using their own house blend.
