Description
Halisco is bringing Mexican street food to Brighton.
Taking over what used to be The Vineyard Steakhouse, Halisco brings a menu packed with tasty Mexican treats to a fun, laid-back environment. The most eye-catching part of the interior is probably their tongue-in-cheek mural of American President Trump, peering over a Mexican border wall.
The menu has a focus on tacos, with everything from meaty options – like the slow-cooked ox cheek and bone marrow mayo taco, with crispy onions – and veggie choices too – including the refried beans and sautéed mushrooms with confit garlic tacos. There are other tasty Mexican treats, such as the pork carnitas, as well as desserts such as home-made strawberry sorbet. For drinks, they'll be serving up tonnes of Mexican tequilas.
