The Walrus

A charming pub and restaurant in The Lanes, The Walrus is an eclectic space filled with vintage decor and plush velvet seating. This New Year's Eve, they're hosting and evening of dancing and celebrating, complete with all DJs playing all the best funk, soul, pop, hip hop and more.

Entry to the evet is free, and you can arrive earlier to enjoy a special set menu for £49.50 per person - we're talking smoked salmon, aubergine parmigiana, fillet steak and a dreamy chocolate fondant.

Nostos

An award-winning Greek restaurant in Hove, Nostos is a stylish, laid-back restaurant that's committed to sustainability. They're offering two sitting this New Year's Eve, the later one including access to their fantastic drag show hosted by Cherry Bomb.

Enjoy five sumptuous courses of cauliflower risotto, tuna tataki, slow-cooked beef shin and much more, starting from £55 per person - including a glass of wine.

Shelter Hall

Boasting a buzzing bar area, seven independent food vendors and a gorgeous outdoor space complete with cosy igloos for dining, Shelter Hall can be found in an iconic Victorian building on the beachfront. They're giving you the chance to dine from any of their kitchens from 8pm onwards on New Year's Eve, complete with a free drink on arrival.

This will be followed by a spectacular cabaret performance from Billie Gold and Jamie Heward, alongside resident DJ sets, in their Golden Age of Disco-themed party.

Earth & Stars

Located in the North Laine area, Earth & Stars is a cosy pub that's perfect for winter dining. They serve vegan and organic ales from some of the best local brewers around, alongside an extensive menu that caters to all tastes.

Dig into the likes of brisket burgers topped with streaky bacon, smoked battered tofu or battered cod and chips, paired with top quality beer or wine.

ASK Italian Brighton

A top choice for casual and affordable dining this New Year's Eve, ASK Italian is located on Ship Street in the town centre. Flaunting quirky neon signs and colourful furniture, this space is slinging out cracking cocktails and Italian eats galore.

Their set menu offers three sumptuous courses for just £27.50 per person - think aubergine parmigiana ravioli, Christmas carbonara or a pulled turkey pizza, followed by a indulgent cinnamon swirl.

The Salt Room

Promising views of the ocean from their covered terrace and gorgeous interiors full of high ceilings and wooden tables, The Salt Room is a modern British restaurant on King's Road. This New Year's Eve, you can enjoy a set menu of two or three courses, starting from £45 per person.

Tuck into the likes of roasted cod loin, malt-glazed Norfolk turkey or herb-stuffed sea bass, followed by a delicious lemon cheesecake. 

Burnt Orange

Hands down one of the best New Year's Eve restaurants Brighton has to offer, Burnt Orange is nestled within The Lanes. Founded by the brains behind The Salt Room and The Coal Shed, this restaurant and cocktail bar maintains many of the original 16th-century features of the building, paired with more modern furnishings.

This New Year's Eve, they're serving special dishes for the occasion - we're talking wood-fired flatbread topped with roasted celeriac hummus, marinated barbecue scallops, green coconut curry and much more.

Coppa Club Igloos

Open from 9am to 11pm, so perfect for your New Year's Eve meal whatever time of day you want it, Coppa Club's wintery igloos are the ideal cosy retreat. See out 2024 in style with cuddly blankets, hanging decorations and glowing lanterns, all while tucking into a festive menu featuring dishes like hot salmon bruschetta with whipped ricotta and pickled cucumber alongside a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

Hotel Du Vin Brighton

A gorgeous hotel restaurant in the heart of the Lanes, Hotel Du Vin is ideal for really making a night of it this New Year's Eve. Whether you fancy dining in their restaurant or you're just looking for somewhere to stay after your celebrations, they're offering rooms from £144.

They're also promising a midnight splendour deal of dinner, Champagne, stay and breakfast for £375 each, complete with a three-course offering from their a la carte menu.

Med Brighton

To eat somewhere in The Lanes this New Year's Eve, check out Med. The set menu here will only set you back £65 per person, giving you the chance to tuck into a sharing feast to remember with your table. Kick off with sharing starters for the table like beef carpaccio in a plum ponzu, and follow with dishes spanning beef short rib in oyster sauce jus, delicia pumpkin crispy birria pancake, confit cod loin in lobster bisque and more.

Tutto

On the hunt for Italian New Year's Eve restaurants in Brighton? Then Tutto could be just the place for you, found right in the heart of town. The bright, vibrant venue features colourful artwork, pretty greenery and high ceilings, as well as a cracking cocktail menu available from the bar.

Their New Year's Eve menu features everything from pumpkin and gorgonzola arancini and wood-fired sea bass to beef carpaccio and cacio e pepe, with five sumptuous courses for £85 per person.
