Aaron has been making a name for himself in recent years. He is a stand-up comedian, actor and fantastically also a trained circus performer. He’s a regular on the circuit working for various independent promoters such as Hilary Bites, Eminent Banter, Ten Feet Tall, Funhouse, House of Stand Up, FAF, Hilarious, Can Comedy, Comedy Cow etc. He also does occasional work for Glee and Manfords.
He is a warm, friendly and confident MC and has been an MC for Juice Comedy, Laughing Horse, Comedy Cow and Glee RoughWorks.
His ongoing solo show “Can’t Stop A Rainbow” made a mark the Edinburgh Fringe 2019, with his own brand of intelligent, bubbly and frank stand-up.
This year he has been touring as part of the (Back) On The Road Comedy Club. Aaron runs his own podcast, A Matter of Pride, ‘a comedy education of gay history’. Recently Aaron has featured in Darren Harriot’s BBC Radio 4 Stand Up Podcast Red Label. He is also filming for an upcoming series with Pulped.

OPENER MATT REESLeicester Mercury Comedian of the Year
Leicester Square Comedian of the Year
'A properly Original comedy mind' - The Guardian
“Comedian to watch" - The Times
Multi-award-winning Welsh comedian, Matt Rees, has generated a huge buzz on the circuit over the past few years with his unique brand of well-crafted gags and acerbic delivery earning him high praise from audiences and critics alike.
The deadpan stand-up is a sober drunk and a couple of years ago he had to take a break from comedy to deal with his personal matters, but now he’s back and taking the comedy scene by storm once more. As well as starring in BBC3’s This Country and BBC’s Edinburgh Fringe Highlights, Matt has also recently recorded an episode of BBC2’s Stand Up at BBC Wales, Amazon’s Audible Presents and Stand Up For BBC Radio Wales.
Matt also made his hotly anticipated debut solo show at The Edinburgh Fringe in 2018 at The Pleasance with Happy Hour, a humorous approach to his alcoholism and his everyday life. The rising star has won a whole host of awards including Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, Leicester Square Comedian of The Year, Welsh Unsigned Act of The Year and Loaded LAFTAs, as well as being nominated for Chortle Best Newcomer..
“Rees' phlegmatic, hangdog delivery belies a phenomenally high gag rate. And as he draws each of his routines to a close with a swerve of deft wordplay there is a surprising feeling of the pacey rhythm more familiar in a one-liner show. He has an eye for the bizarre and for darkness. Rees can tell a story or create a world in a sentence.” - The Skinny
"A gem in the form of a laconic youngster with an instinctive comedic talent" - Metro
"Matt's writing was a stand out. Apparently casual asides spin out into fresh routines" - Chortle
"Quite brilliant. I’d love to see more of this comic." - Kate Copstick, The Scotsman

Edinburgh Festival Magazine ★★★★ | Bunbury Magazine ★★★★★
“Perfectly timed, clever one-liners” Leicester Mercury
“Very funny show” TIME OUT
“Master of one liners” one4review ★★★★★
Mark is an exceptional one-liner comedian. It won him a place in Dave’s prestigious Best Joke of The Fringe in Edinburgh 2017. His solo show at the festival, One-Linerer was also a huge hit, with sell out shows every day and was nominated Best Show by the Amused Moose Comedy Award Fringe Show 2017. He then continued this success with his follow-up show, One-Linererer, which was also a sell out!
Mark is constantly on the rise and since being in the finals of several noteworthy competitions, such as Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year, So You Think You’re Funny and the NATY Award, he has been in high demand for the top UK comedy clubs, such as Glee, Manford’s Comedy Club, Comedy Central and Just The Tonic, headlining the majority of them. Also, he has been recently supporting Seann Walsh, Rob Beckett and Rob Brydon on their national tours, as well as one off shows supporting Michael McIntyre, Sean Lock and Jack Dee.
“Simmons delivered a lot of excellent funny one liners in a ten-minute set which raced by. I loved his subtle, well-paced delivery and the way he deliberately misdirected the audience using his tone of voice before surprising them with a line which was the last thing they expected…hilarious.” - Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke
