Description
From the wine list projected on the wall to the sizzling hot wok imported from Hong Kong, Happy Boy is a seriously fun restaurant in Fortitude Valley. Created by the team behind Spring Hill Chinese, this venue boasts polished concrete floors, a small wooden deck and an industrial vibe, thanks to metal pipes and blank walls.
Food is inspired by China and can be scoffed either from the a la carte or reasonable $49 chef’s banquet menu. Whichever you choose, plates are hearty and pack a spicy punch, from sticky honey-glazed BBQ chicken to burnt broccolini with black bean butter. Thirsty? Pick from that projected list, with wines sourced from the owner's business, Spokenwine, or from the neat selection of beers on tap.
