Taking over a former barristers' chambers off Baldwin Street, Black Rock Bristol joins its East London sister bar as one of the most impressive whisky bars in the UK. Home to over 250 different bottles of whisky from across the globe, their expert bartenders are always on hand to suggest a dram for what ails you, or help you give you the introduction you need to get into the spirit.
Alongside their extensive bottles selection Black Rock have crafted a range of signature cocktails designed to meet every preference. From smokey Talisker and coffee-laced concoctions, to fruitier Haig Club and rhubarb milk punch sippers, they're no stranger to an eccentric mix, but it always works out a treat.
And if you were wanting for soakage, their basement kitchen serves up a small but decadent array of bar snacks including oysters, Scotch eggs, haggis balls and fresh soda bread with seaweed butter.
