Sassy, outrageous and glittering with neon signs, Tonight Josephine has become the it girl of the UK’s bar scene. And now? The quirky, late-night hangout is landing in Bristol city centre later this year, so get ready for one wild ride.
The Baldwin Street opening comes from Nightcap, which has launched many of the town’s most sought-after haunts, including Blame Gloria and The Cocktail Club. As the 7th string in Tonight Josephine’s illustrious bow, we expect the new watering hole to reflect its party girl attitude; think bright pink hues, rhinestone-topped tables and neon signs emblazoned with iconic quotes. And don’t forget its themed bottomless brunches and drag bingo bonanzas, where scrumptious grub and free-flowing drinks reign supreme. But if the sun comes out to play, make sure to check out the Instagrammable outside terrace.
When you’re not tearing up the dancefloor, you’ll want to try out the “treat sheet”, which lines up a whole load of tasty small plates. These include dishes like jerk chicken skewers, pulled pork sliders and buffalo Quorn nuggets. As for the drinks list? Tip back signature cocktails, such as the Starburst Boogie, made up of Absolut vodka, Southern Comfort, Disaronno, peach schnapps, pineapple and citrus juice. But if you’d rather have a refreshing beer or glass of wine, there’s plenty of that too.
