Description
Found in the Mud Dock Area of Bristol, Thekla is the ultimate party on the boat. The former cargo ship has been providing Bristol clubbers with an amazing night out since the 1980s.
Still going strong today, the boat serves as a popular nightclub and live music venue, along with hosting art and market fairs. Popular with students, Thekla has a range of nights, from weekly Pop Confessional through to hip hop dedicated shindigs. Since 2006, the venue has been run by DHP Family, a group who place a heavy emphasis on supporting local talent and putting on frequent live music nights.
