Bar 44 is bringing Spanish tapas and sherry to Bristol.

Taking the site of a former bank in Clifton Village, the family-friendly restaurant bar is the fourth venue of the same name. Not only do they focus on traditional Spanish food, they are also known for their extensive sherry list, serving 20 by the glass.

The seasonal menu has a variety of Spanish dishes, from Cordero – overnight braised lamb neck, chickpea puree, crispy onion and salsa verde – to Monkfish cheek, with spiced carrot, roast heritage carrot, and almond. The fully Spanish drinks list also has wines from all over Spain, and Gin Tonicas, which are spin on gin and tonics. The family-friendly restaurant also has a children’s tapas menu.
