Located on King's Road, the restaurant serves up contemporary Japanese food and drink in very stylish surroundings. Step through their doors and be transported to the eclectic streets of Tokyo, with colourful street scene murals and vibrant Japanese burgundy acers adorning the wall, neon signage and rich, jewel-toned banquettes for you to settle into. The drinks menu is vast and varied, featuring wines and beers as well as sake, highballs and signature cocktails made using the likes of yuzu, lychee liqueur and lemongrass syrup.
When it comes to food, expect to find a crowd-pleasing selection of bao buns, gyoza, poke bowls and katsu curries, including vegan and veggie options. However, it's the sushi offerings that really take the crown here. Alongside California rolls, hosomaki and sashimi bites, prepared fresh to order using the finest produce, KIBOU has a number of original creations such as soft shell crab and tobiko spider rolls.
