Description
Pigsty is a restaurant dedicated to all things pig in Bristol.
After a successful branch in Cargo, the brand – run by former Bristol Rugby player Olly Kohn – has expanded to Gloucester Road, with a venue that’s four times the size of the original and offering a lot more to boot. Having taken the space of a former butcher’s, they’ve kept much of the original tiling, giving it a fun authentic feel.
The menu is predominately pig-based, serving it up from breakfast straight through to dinner. Their most popular choices are the Pig Mac, a seasoned pork patty with slow roast BBQ pulled pork and cheese baconaise, and the Pig Board, which is a cheese board-type-dish with a selection of pork instead. Their ‘On The Trot’ takeaway service boasts everything from sausage rolls to Scotch eggs and bacon sarnies. For drinks, they serve a variety of beers, ciders, and standard spirits.
