As if Bristol’s pizza game couldn’t get any stronger, Purezza is set to land in the West Country capital this summer.
Joining the ranks of some of the city’s most beloved spots - we’re talking The Bristol Stable, Dough and Pizzarova - the restaurant is bringing something new to the table with their menu of entirely vegan slices. That’s right. The UK’s first plant-based pizzeria is knocking up a selection of regular, hemp flour and gluten-free sourdough bases for some seriously tasty guilt-free chomps. Offerings include a number of classics alongside some of the more innovative eats, loaded with toppings such as wood-smoked tofu, crumbled ‘sausages’ or pulled BBQ pieces.
The Gloucester Road site is the latest step in country-wide domination for the meatless pioneers. Since their 2015 debut in Brighton, Purezza's gained a loyal fanbase, opened up shop in London and are expanding their family with an unveiling in Hove. Needless to say, these sourdough slingers are on a roll, with no signs of slowing down...
