Joining Bristol’s busy dining scene is a new fusion restaurant that’s sure to leave a mark with its unique flavours and contemporary decor. Created by Harris Massey, former chef at Dishoom, and Kedar Subedi, previously from Dhamaka, Rock Salt is bringing traditional Chinese and Indian cuisine all under one roof. Guests can feast on Indian-inspired dishes such as murg butter masala and kori ghassi, before moving on to Mongolian chicken and dim sum. It feels so wrong, yet so right.
But the fun doesn't end with the food. The drinks menu also features a selection of Indian wines, as well as rose negronis and cinnamon brambles. So that's your meal sorted, but what about the interior? Decked out with plush banquet seating, exposed brick walls and an attention-grabbing mural, Rock Salt's modern furnishings match its innovative menu.
