MasterChef Finalist Larkin Cen has announced plans to open a third Woky Ko at Bristol's Wapping Wharf on the 14th March. The Kaiju site will join Cargo in the same location and Kauto on Queens Road, with plans for a Robata Stall at St Nick’s Market in the near future.
While the menu has not yet been revealed, the restaurant have confirmed that Woky Ko Kaiju will serve ramen, seasonal vegetables, meat and yakitori skewer dishes. Nevertheless a few dishes have been teased, such as the monkfish with yuzu dashi and leek oil, the Woky Ko ramen with charsu pork belly, menma, soy egg and garlic oil, and duck meatballs with plum ketchup.
The Japanese bar and grill concept will feature a long bar where guests will chow down on barbecued skewers from the binchotan charcoal robata grill. To wash it down with, they’ll be able to choose form an ample drinks menu with a star cocktail being the Nikka Tan Old Fashioned made from Woky Ko's own Psychopomp gin.
