Description
Any pub plating up a burger called the Bombay Badboy is rightly going to steal our attention. This 6oz lamb patty - spiced up with a liberal dosage of green chill and ginger – isn’t for the faint-hearted, and it forms part of an excellent range of homemade burgers served at The Alex.
Warm up with a choice of snack foods (we’d recommend the mussels in beer and bacon broth) before the main event. Homemade burgers will set you back between £7 and £9, and come in the company of side dishes like the Monk Fish Scampi that would take a more generous share of the plaudits if it wasn’t for the delicious nature of the patty list.
The Alex also take great pride in their beer selection, which includes a spirited selection of ciders, ales and craft beers frequently updated and adjusted to give you something different to try on each visit.
