Located in the heart of historic Cambridge, The Mitre offers great food, local ales and plenty of character.
The spot was once home to two pubs, The Cock and Magpie and The Blackmoor’s Head. Sadly, The Blackmoor’s Head closed in 1874 after a decline in passing river trade caused by the growth of the railway.
The traditional British pub food menu offers an impressive choice of tasty dishes, and there’s a wide range of cask ales and spirits available too. A speciality Fish House, you’ll find a wide variety of impressive seafood dishes on the menu.
When it comes to attractions in the area, you’ll be spoilt for choice – St John’s College, Trinity College and the Quayside are all close by.
