What they say:
Having already stormed Bristol, The Bootlegger is bringing their style of speakeasy fun to our fair little city. Having opened up on Womanby Street this March, the bar takes over the space previously occupied by The Moon Club and transforms it into a 1920s den of clapboard, exposed brick and cosy corners. The spot also takes it alcohol very seriously; expect more than 90 types of cocktails, a dedicated gin bar and a selection of craft ale.
What we say:
The end of the Prohibition was fab, especially as everyone could start boozing legally again; celebrating this major event comes The Bootlegger, who is providing Cardiff with enough drinks to start a serious party. From alcoholic milkshakes through to Jaffa Cake and Crunchie Martinis, the bar has a huge selection of cocktails. To add to the party atmosphere, they have a stage which is regularly taken over by local blues and folk bands, along with DJs who spin late on weekends.
