The Bunker is first and foremost one of Cardiff’s best venues for live sport. With 15 flat screens, an entire wall filled with plasma TVs and a 3D projector, there’s no danger of missing a kick, pass, try or wicket here. It’s an ideal match for getting a big group together, pulling up a chair and revelling in the buzzing matchday atmosphere.

Sport is really only half the story though. Once the final whistle has been sounded it’s on to the serious business of the party, which continues until 4am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Check out Team Up on Friday, where two rooms of pop, indie, chart, rock and punk tracks makes for one epic party. There’s 3-4-1 drink deals on Saturdays, and Wednesday is sports night for Cardiff’s student population.

The Bunker’s cheap drinks and lively party atmosphere make it a handsome option for birthdays, hen and stag nights and making a real occasion of any big sporting fixture.
