1 review - Lounge Bar
Inspired by the coffee shops of Barcelona, Bloc brings coffee, cakes and cava to Victoria Park.
Formerly a disused toilet, Bloc stems from the Welsh spelling of “block” as an homage to the building’s past. Owners Alex Parker and Donna Paton converted the site into an open plan cafe, hoping to inject a new era of coffee culture into Cardiff. Take a seat in the spacious cafe, featuring white tiled walls and leafy plants, or enjoy the view from the patio overlooking the park.
Expect freshly made coffee alongside boozy libations; from beer and cider, to wine and cava. Go for the sandwiches and coffee during the day or engaging events, like supperclubs in the evening. Creating a vibrant community space is key here.
