1 review - Pub
Description
Set in a beautiful, Victorian, red-brick building, The Lansdowne aims to bring a sense of community to its restaurant and pub in Canton. Saved from being turned into flats, the pub has had a refurbishment complete with a pea green bar and antique-looking oak furniture.
The food is gastro-pub cuisine with a focus on produce from Wales; Welsh flatiron steaks are slathered in peppercorn sauce and burgers are made from Welsh mince and topped with blue cheese.
Named as CAMRA's Cardiff pub of the year, The Lansdowne has a large selection of ales and beers from both local suppliers and around Europe - look out for their annual beer festival which puts on great live music and has a range of unusual beers.
