Description
Located in the stunning Castle Quarter of Cardiff, Pasture is a den of live music, punchy cocktails and mouthwatering charcoal-grilled steaks.
The ultimate weekend hangout, this swish restaurant is the second venue from Sam Elliott (a former colleague of Jamie Oliver), who has already gained accolades for his debut opening in Bristol. Focusing heavily on ethical and sustainable sourcing, the ingredients here are as fresh and local as they come - think cattle from the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains and organic veggies grown in Abergavenny.
Menu highlights include a mega-sized Tomahawk steak, alongside the classic 200g fillet and a melt-in-the-mouth 45 day dry-aged house burger. And the sides here are pretty special too, with the option to choose between bacon crumb mac & cheese, truffle chips with Cornish gouda and grilled garlic portobello mushrooms amongst others.
While interiors boast an industrial edge, the welcome here is as warm as they come. And when night falls at the weekend? Expect space to be cleared for music and dancing aplenty.
