Description
From an abandoned building in Sophia Gardens comes a new hotspot for foodies in Cardiff: sustainable restaurant, Kindle. Now the former warden's cottage is all dolled-up, the relaxed eatery and watering hole is serving fire food and natural wine in stunning surrounds.
You'll be dining alfresco at this rustic restaurant, swapping small plates and sipping on wine as you kick back and unwind. With a beautiful courtyard, pergola and outdoor seating built from reclaimed materials, this serene spot is perfect for date night, family dinners or catching up with friends.
Owners Phill and Deb Lewis are the couple behind popular pizzerias Dusty's and Cardiff bistro Nook. Kindle switches those hearty Italian slices with a focus on ethical, traceable produce and a fresh taste. So you'll be chowing down on gravy-covered quail and succulent white crab, all cooked over flames using seasonal ingredients.
