Description
Located on the corner of Cowbridge East in the heart of Victoria Park, Nook is a contemporary eatery with local, sustainably-sourced ingredients at its heart.
Founded by four friends who know Cardiff’s food-scene better than most (having collectively worked at Dusty Knuckle, Hood, Bite, Ember and The Warden’s House), this cosy and intimate restaurant specialises in perfectly formed small plates, jam-packed full of flavour. With an open kitchen layout, diners are able to peek behind the scenes, seeing the careful composition of dishes like truffle arancini and melt-in-the-mouth almond cannolis with coffee and vanilla cream.
The walls are adorned with bottles of specially curated natural wines, with the addition of six biodynamic sips on tap for those wanting to order by the glass. This place is walk-in only, but come early and you’ll no doubt be able to find a cosy corner to perch with a glass of wine until a table becomes free.
