Description
Bar, restaurant, roof terrace and club, Opium is Dublin's hottest ticket when it comes to a night out.
The diverse building is split into four, all with a Pan-Asian theme. Kick your day off in the slick restaurant; decorated with murals and leather booths, it's the perfect place to fill up on the likes of suckling pork, red duck curry, and claypot lamb. When the sun is shining - or even when it's not, thanks to a retractable ceiling - the rooftop is where it's at. During the day, it's perfect for grabbing a cocktail, snapping pictures of all the greenery, including a huge tree, and at night, it gets even more gorgeous with private spaces and fairy lights.
The club, Iro, is a technicoloured heaven for those wanting to dance the night away with Dublin's coolest crowd. The space is inspired by Tokyo's culture and Manga comics, and as well as a huge dancefloor, there's an outdoor terrace and a regular rotation of talented local DJs.
