The Market Bar Group

Housed in a 19th-century Victorian warehouse, this diverse spot is home to an array of tempting tapas-style plates paired with Aperol spritzes, red wine and beers.

The Gothic Revivalist area retains a lot of its former industrial furnishings and is decked out with modern sound systems and atmospheric lighting, making The Market Bar a great party, anniversary and work do location for up to 500 guests. Sip on negronis and old fashioneds, inhale patatas bravas and crispy fish tacos and let the good times roll.

Pacino's

On the hunt for a private restaurant hire in Dublin city centre? Pacino's is here to accommodate your party-throwing needs. The Italian eatery can be found on Suffolk Street oozing warmth and sophistication with its exposed brick walls, dangling foliage and soft lighting.

You can book either its Cellar Venue (which holds around 40 people, seated), The Bar on the main floor, or the Occasional Room on the mezzanine for your anniversary, work or birthday celebrations, and invite your friends to join you in sipping red wine and devouring pappardelle pasta in a venison ragu.

Forest Avenue

Forest Avenue is home to a gorgeous, intimate space which is ideal for an anniversary or engagement meal. If you're searching for small private dining rooms in Dublin, consider booking its mezzanine on the second level which can seat up to ten friends or family.

The cosy, family-run restaurant is named after the street the owners grew up on in New York and the menu changes with the seasons to showcase only the freshest ingredients. Think cod with crab, aubergine, shellfish sauce and tomato kimchi, buckwheat ice cream with tonka bean and more.

The Ivy Dublin

The Ivy on Dawson Street is no stranger to a little luxury - with its huge murals, mirrored walls and botanical-inspired, patterned ceilings, it's used to being the centre of attention and the backdrop for memorable moments. This outpost in particular is home to the Jonathan Swift Room, a private dining venue named after the Dublin-born author.

It features a beautiful picture of the city's horizon c1800, has a light, artful feel and offers set menus whipped up exclusively by the executive chef. You can book it for around 32 guests to tuck into the venue's signature shepherd's pie or blackened cod fillet, or 50 if you're looking to host a formal drinks and canapé reception.

Sophie's

When it comes to restaurant hire, Dublin city centre has an array of options but none of them come with sky-high sights like Sophie's. The rooftop restaurant perched atop The Dean is kitted out with floor-to-ceiling windows, striking chandeliers and 360-degree views of the city.

Here you can celebrate a birthday on the terrace while watching the sunset, or have a work do paired with plenty of cocktails - whatever you need, the team are more than happy to discuss. And as for food? Chomp on New York, Italian and Irish bites from local suppliers. Our favourites include the mortadella pizza, topped with sun-dried tomatoes and pistachios, and the seafood linguine.

Hellfire

Searching for a small restaurant to hire in Dublin? How about the Italian steakhouse Hellfire? Sat on Westmoreland Street across from Temple Bar, this cool spot is full of character, with glossy tiled walls curving round, indoor trees and low lighting.

Dine under the pretty 'Tree of Fire' and experience a semi-private space overlooking Fleet Street. It can fit up to ten friends and, located on the ground floor, is easy to access. If you fancy something a little larger, the mezzanine can hold around 22 guests, and the largest of them all, the basement, 34. And on the menu? Three courses for €55, including charred beef tacos, ceviche tostadas and honey and BBQ chicken.

Black Forge Inn

The Black Forge Inn is a smashing pub and restaurant that's owned by none other than MMA fighter Conor McGregor and serves delicious on-tap Guinness alongside locally sourced plates of food. Its interiors are cool, with eye-catching chandeliers, dangling foliage and plush booths, and the upstairs Bentley Room has enough space for up to 80 guests to enjoy live music and delicious eats.

Book the space out for your next birthday or work party and look forward to tucking into some of Ireland's finest produce in the form of chargrilled, dry-aged Irish John Stone steak, served alongside fresh hand-cut chips and buttermilk onions, and salted caramel fondant for dessert.

Angelina's

You'll spy Angelina's just off Baggot Street by the canal. Home to a unique terrace, waterside views and bursting with natural daylight, it's a sleek dining destination offering Italian-inspired food made with fresh, local ingredients.

Plush, red chairs line the main space, with bespoke lighting and original Irish art adorning the walls - together, these elements create a stylish backdrop for your next event. The restaurant offers a mix of large indoor and outdoor spaces for work or social gatherings, complete with food packages and friendly service. If you're in the mood for partying with pizza or dancing after devouring five-spiced duck breast, this is the place for you.

Opium

Opium is one of Dublin's top places for Asian eats and it doesn't hurt that it fronts a super pretty dining space too. The Wexford Street spot does it all, doubling up as a club and bar, as well as a droolworthy eatery.

If you're planning a party, look to secure the botanical garden for up to 200 friends - draped in gorgeous foliage and boasting an 18th-century Geisha, it truly is a feast for the eyes. Or, for a smaller do, opt for the modern Vietnamese restaurant which can fit up to 120 guests and is, quite frankly, noodle heaven. Pad Thai and bao buns, anyone?
