New Bar Spy - Kari

Is life feeling a little daal? Then make your way to Kari on Emmet Road. Another venture for the owners of the award-winning hotspot, Konkan, this brand new Indian restaurant promises to pack a punch with its flavourful dishes. On top of the great food, there are chic interiors to match. Think geometric wall art, bright pops of mustard, hanging glass lights and leafy features galore.

You best arrive here hungry, as plenty of authentic plates are up for grabs. Start off your meal with succulent chicken fennel tikka or fish pahadi drizzled in a fresh green chilli marinade, before chowing down on a signature biryani. The sweet and sour prawn jalfrezi has certainly caught our eye too, which is served alongside turmeric rice and ghee. As for drinks, choose from a selection of wine, beer and soft bevvies.
