Junk

  • 58 South Clerk Street, EH8 9PS

Winners of the Scottish, British and European Street Food Awards back in 2022, let us present you with Junk: feel-good, comforting street food with a seriously tasty edge. Based in both Omni Centre’s Edinburgh Street Food market, and in Newington, Junk is a family-run endeavour – born out of lockdown, a love for food and indulgence.

Now, they’re champions, and the name on everyone’s lips when it comes to Edinburgh’s best street food. Reserve a coveted spot at its bar and restaurant for lunch or dinner, where we’d recommend going all out. Dig into dishes such as their noodle pot (made with sweetcorn ragu and maitake mushrooms), as well as the 'pizza' crunch (burrata, harissa, guindilla and olives), not to mention 'things on sticks' - which features delicious BBQ pork belly. What you gon’ do with all that junk?
