Get ready for cheese galore because a halloumi pop-up will be hosted at Otro in the West End of Edinburgh next month. Created in collaboration with the Cyprus tourist board, this pop-up has already had two successful runs in London before making its way to Scotland. The menu was created by the Otro head chef Maciek Szymik, who hopes to showcase the versatility of the traditional Cypriot cheese, while getting people to appreciate some of the best dishes from Cyprus.
Available from the 8th-21st of April, halloumi connoisseurs will get the chance to try six different dishes, including the coddled egg with smoked halloumi, a halloumi waffle BLT, and delicious halloumi fries.
The Halloumi pop-up will take place from the 8th-21st of April at West End restaurant Otro, 22 Coates Crescent, Edinburgh EH3 7AF
