The Three Sisters

The St Patrick’s celebrations at The Three Sisters are pretty legendary, with swarms of locals congregating at this popular sports bar in Cowgate for its lively atmosphere, spacious courtyard and ice-cold drinks. The Three Sisters is putting on an all-day event with live music, drag queens, ‘craic-aoke’, free breakfasts, competitions, and celebrity guest appearances. This year, its St Patrick's Day festival runs from 8am-3am on Monday the 17th of March, so there’s plenty of time to pop in for a Guinness and a jig – just be sure you book your tickets ahead of time.

They're hosting a bunch of brilliant events, from sports screenings (hello Cheltenham Gold Cup at 12pm on Friday, plus Six Nations super Saturday on the 15th) to Derry Girls-themed quizzes, live music and confetti cannons. Plus when it comes to the big day itself, on Monday 17th March, they will be hosting live music all day, and there will be a ploughing championship (yes, you read that right).
