The Bongo Club in Edinburgh has gone from strength to strength in the city's club scene. Based in the famous cowgate, the venue is a favourite for students during the week and is flooded with locals on the weekend. Spread across two different floors, the line-up of resident DJs have their fingers in many musical pies, playing Hip Hop and RnB tunes on a Tuesday before returning to conventional rock and club tracks on the weekend. Better still, the Bongo Club also hosts live music concerts, showcasing Edinburgh's brightest young artists and bands.
