Description
Just a short walk from Edinburgh Castle, Rose Street Brewery stands proudly in the city’s New Town, designed by 23-year old architect James Craig who won a competition back in 1766.
There’s plenty to see nearby, whether you soak up some culture at the Scottish National Gallery, get a fright in The Edinburgh Dungeon, or work your way around the many bars of this popular drinking oasis.
As you’d expect from such a location, the pub serves up the best of classic pub food – think satisfying, hearty meals washed down with a choice of cask ales, wines and spirits.
Back in the day, Auld Reekie Ale was brewed on the premises. These days you’ll find a range of Scottish cask ales to quench your thirst after a day of exploring the capital.
