Description
Rich in history, the present-day Kenilworth replaces an earlier pub on the site, designed in 1893 by a wine and spirit merchant. It was built in 1904 and takes its name from a novel by Sir Walter Scott, whose portrait hangs outside.
Located on Rose Street, just a short stroll from Princess Street, George Street, and Castle Street, this traditional pub is a great spot for dinner or drinks after exploring Edinburgh Castle or the Scottish National Gallery, or shopping on Princes Street.
So, pull up a chair and tuck into the traditional British pub menu, washed down with a wide variety of cask ales, wines, and spirits. If you’re planning a meeting, party, or event, the Tartan Snug is available for private bookings and can accommodate up to 50 people for a drinks reception.
