Description
The Peartree is a stalwart venue in Edinburgh. Famous for its beautiful beer garden and selection of local ales, it sits in the beating heart of the city's Old Town and has become a popular spot for post-lecture and after-work drinks.
The bar itself is traditionally decorated, surrounded by mahogany walls and dark, wooden furniture. The many local ale stickers and shiny brass pumps add some colour to the venue's overall character. But the beer garden rightfully steals all the headlines here. Circled by a colourful flower bed, the huge screen TV, outdoor bar and barbecue draw in large crowds whenever the sun comes out or there's a live sports event. Serene and idyllic, there aren't many pubs in Edinburgh that can match The Peartree.
