What they say:
French dining has teamed up with Scottish produce at Edinburgh’s newest all-day brasserie. Situated in the iconic Balmoral Hotel, the venue was created after a £3 million renovation and partnership with the Roux culinary dynasty (Alain Roux is behind this one). Spread across a stylish restaurant and bar, they’re open for breakfast through till dinner, serving up a selection of a la carte dishes, sharing plates and a choice of fresh seafood from the Raw Bar.
What we say:
Of course you’re likely to find a French menu at Brasserie Prince, but the dishes take inspiration from Scotland – so much so that all the produce is strictly Scottish. The sharing plates are a mouth-watering range of artisan cheese boards, charcuterie, and even Isle of Skye langoustines with cocktail sauce. Their seasonally-changing menu also features a range of meat and game dishes, salads and vegan-friendly options.
