Description
If his name is anything to go by, we can only assume that Scotland's youngest ever Michelin star chef, Tom Kitchin, was destined to be a foodie. Luckily for us, the mastermind behind Scran & Scallie has now opened a new restaurant in Bruntsfield, just a stone's throw from the city centre. KORA, which is inspired by Greek mythology (the goddess of spring's bounty and agriculture to be exact), has a focus on Scottish produce across its seasonal menus.
From the gorgeous bar to the dining space complete with teal, orange and wooden accents, this place is as easy on the eye as you'd expect a restaurant inspired by the heavens to be. As for food? There's the likes of crispy Inverurie ox tongue ravioli, Ayrshire pork belly with black pudding and apple, or hand-dived Orkney scallops to tuck into.
