In the heart of the city centre of Edinburgh is one of the most famous hotels, The Scotsman. With previous use as a publishing house the character of the building has been maintained with slight odes to its former use. All bedrooms within the venue are different, in-keeping with the history of the building. The venue is home to a variety of private hire spaces perfect for corporate meetings, team training days, large dinners and weddings. With spaces hosting capacities of 12 - 230 guests there is something to suit everyone.
The hotel is also home to the Grand Cafe, opening a 12pm the space hosts a food service throughout the day, offering a varied modern menu which works in harmony with the traditional decor of the venue. The food menu serves a sharing charcuterie platter perfect for a light bite whilst enjoying some cocktails, it also notes a selection of sandwiches, a delicious array of main courses and delectable desserts perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The Grand Cafe offers an experience that can be tailored to all occasions and tastes.
