Sushisamba looks set to - quite literally - elevate this city's dining game.
Taking over highest levels of W Edinburgh, the rooftop restaurant will be spread over two floors and will boast panoramic views across the skyline. Along with a bar, lounge and dining room, the spot will also have a chef's table for the hardcore foodies among you as well as an outdoor terrace to take in those top-notch sunset vistas.
This will be the brand's third UK site and its first outpost in Scotland. Having gained a name for its amazing views atop Bishopsgate's Heron Tower, alongside an inventive menu both there and at its Covent Garden location, the kitchen mixes classic Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian flavours to create exquisite dishes. You can expect unusual plates such as salmon ceviche with macadamia and seaweed, sea urchin nigiri and lamb chop skewers with red miso. But it doesn't end there. Sushisamba's creative flair also extends into its cocktail offerings, with quirky lychee coolers, coconut matcha sours and black cherry Americans all up for grabs - plus an impressive selection of Champagne and saké.
