Description
Renowned steak chain Gaucho has come to Edinburgh, bringing its famous Argentine steaks and wine. Opened in St Andrews Square, the restaurant has space for 120 covers along with its trademark luxury interiors; think leathers, marble and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The restaurant specialises in free-to-roam Argentine beef from Aberdeen Angus cows and as well as steaks, the menu also has a selection of ceviches. Dishes include the likes of tuna ceviche, slow-braised lamb shank and, of course, a variety of steak cuts. To wash it all down, the spot has more than 200 Argentine wines as well as knocking up a mean cocktail.

We Found Out Whether Gaucho Is Really Raising The Steaks
As a rule, Edinburgh isn’t one of those cities where people like to get all dressed up for dinner. Priding itself on laidback, simple chic, it’s often safer to go out for dinner following the ‘jeans and a nice top’ concept than to go all out and get fancy and face the fear of being the most overdressed…
