Description
Plating up seasonal dishes made from the finest Scottish ingredients this Bruntsfield eatery from Michelin-starred Tom Kitchin combines the chef's love of local produce with his passion for French cuisine. Mixing high-quality dining with a neighbourhood bistro atmosphere, Southside Scran serves up a delicious range of dishes, from quality cuts of meat and fish, cooked on the restaurant's open rotisserie to the freshest vegetables and herbs in the country.
At the bar you'll find a strong wine focus with a carefully curated list of bottles picked by the Kitchin Group's head sommelier, Joel Bastian. Comprised primarily of small and independent producers from all corners of the globe. There is also a strong cocktail list on offer, with drinks changing regularly in accordance with seasonality.
The interiors are split between a sleek bar area and a gorgeous brass-accented dining room, boasting rustic wood floor and French-inspired tiles. Designed by Kitchin's wife, Michaela, and Stephen Paterson of Burns Design, you'll find a venue flooded in natural light from the large street-facing windows, and highlighted with dark greens and pinks to evoke that classic bistro aesthetic.
