Where To Watch The Euros 2024 In Edinburgh

The UEFA Euro championships are heading to Germany this year, and we just can't wait for another summer filled with football fun. From the 14th of June to the 14th of July, we'll be treated to a roster of epic matches as the best of Europe goes head-to-head. So, whether you're supporting Scotland, England, Italy or beyond, here are the top pubs and bars showing the Euros 2024 in Edinburgh.

The Chanter, Edinburgh

Experience the highs and lows of the Euros at The Chanter, a friendly pub in the Old Town that boasts plenty of HD screens and a buzzing atmosphere. With both Sky and TNT Sports subscriptions you can catch every second of the action, with a pool table to keep you entertained at half time. And if all the excitement makes you hungry, then check out their menu of grilled mushroom tacos, stone-baked shredded chicken pizzas and juicy bacon cheeseburgers - washed down with a refreshing pint.

The Southsider, Edinburgh

Found in its namesake region of Southside, The Southsider is a winner for live sports thanks to a number of HD screens all over the venue. They've got an extensive drinks menu to keep you refreshed throughout the game, from cocktail pitchers to craft beer. As for the food, expect chicken and bacon burgers, mac 'n' cheese or katsu curry to name a few dishes.

BrewDog Edinburgh Lothian Road

You won't be strapped for a Euro 2024 viewing venue thanks to BrewDog and its vibrant locations across Edinburgh (Lothian Road, Cowgate and Doghouse). Famed for its delicious beers (Elvis Juice, anyone?), it's also a top place to catch sports, especially the big matches. Hit up one of it's haunts to enjoy fresh pints paired with glossy HD TV screens, and of course, plenty of delicious food. Think burgers, wings and more.

Frankenstein / Bier Keller

Both a raucous party spot and a great choice for live sports, Frankenstein / Bier Keller is covered in spooky decor with both communal long tables and cosy leather booths where you can watch the Euros on their HD screens. The Conan Doyle

A traditional pub in the city centre, The Conan Doyle is named after the author of Sherlock Holmes who was born nearby. It sports dark, wooden bookcases and other furnishings to match, opulent wallpaper and dangling lanterns, as well as a menu packed with Scottish favourites. Get involved with its Euros showings while tucking into fish and chips, Stovies and Balmoral chicken. 

The Haymarket

The Haymarket is an iconic Edinburgh boozer, offering traditional interiors, like a dark wooden bar, chequered floors and retro photographs lining the walls. And this summer? It'll be showing all of the Euros 2024 action live from Germany on its numerous HD screens. Plus, while you're there, you can tuck into the menu of classic pub grub (they're famous for their pies - make sure to try the chicken and truffled oyster mushroom), real ale and craft beers.

The Kenilworth

The Kenilworth is a gorgeous pub, seeped in warm, wooden furnishings and stained glass windows. It's also rich in history, taking its name from a novel by Sir Walter Scott, whom you can find a portrait of outside. It's located in the heart of the city, offering cask ales, wines and a great, homely setting to watch the Euros in. Book your seat and while you're at it, munch on some traditional pub grub, such as chicken and truffled oyster mushroom pie or macaroni cheese. 

Granary, Edinburgh

This rustic pub can be found in Leith, complete with exposed brick walls and a lengthy bar that serves an extensive selection of gins and cocktails. Having been around since 2006, The Granary is known for showing live sport throughout the week, with plenty of room in their bar area for watching the Euros. They offer a cracking all-day menu as well, featuring everything from tofu Buddha bowls to buttermilk chicken burgers.

Tron

Tron makes for a buzzing hub to bring your mates to and watch the Euros. Known for its live music lineup and sports showings, it's popular among locals. Inside you'll find industrial-style interiors and a menu featuring crowd-pleasers such as chorizo and halloumi skewers, drunken mushrooms and BBQ-pulled beef tacos - three of which you can bag for £13.50 while you're invested in the game.

Golf Tavern

You won't find a more historic spot to watch the game in than Golf Tavern, as this traditional boozer has been around since 1456. They've got multiple screens dotted around the main bar, which is filled with dark wooden furnishings and red leather seating. And if you get hungry during the match? Innis & Gunn Edinburgh

Spacious taproom Innis & Gunn is known for having one of the best craft beer selections in Edinburgh, but they're also a great choice when you're looking for somewhere to watch the Euros. They've got a number of screens showing all the big games this summer, as well as 26 taps of fresh beer from local breweries and beyond. The dog-friendly spot is topping off your experience with a cracking menu - featuring everything from hearty burgers to lunchtime sandwiches.

Grosvenor Casino Edinburgh

If you're looking at where to watch the Euro final in Edinburgh, Grosvenor Casino is a strong option. The Art Deco building can be found in South Maybury, open until the early hours of the morning. Inside you'll find a selection of classic table games, such as Blackjack, Roulette and Brag, as well as slot machines and pool tables. The venue is also filled with 18 HD television screens showing the Euros, so you'll be able to bag a decent view of the final match, with pints and fries in tow.

Hanover Tap, Edinburgh

Looking for Edinburgh pubs to watch the Euros 2024? Situated just off of George Street, the Hanover Tap is a spacious pub with rustic wooden walls and comfy, colourful seats that are perfect for watching the big games from. They've got HD screens dotted all over the venue, with a focus on craft beer and cocktails from the bar. As for the menu, you can expect dishes originating from all over the world - from loaded doughballs to stone-baked pizza and gourmet burgers.

Amber Rose Edinburgh

Wondering where to watch the Euros in Edinburgh city centre? Situated in the vibrant neighbourhood of Newington, Southpour is a top choice for catching the games this summer. The Three Sisters

Scotsman Hotel & Grand Café

The gorgeous Scotsman Hotel & Grand Café flaunts high ceilings, chandeliers and marbled walls that match the green plants, making it one of the most beautiful places to watch the Euros in Edinburgh for 2024. Take a seat at this beautiful city centre location to watch the games, while munching on plates of steamed Scottish mussels, pan-fried chicken supreme and plant-based burgers in their Grand Cafe.

Hector's Edinburgh

On the corner of Deanhaugh Street sits Hector's, a trusty pub that's showing all of the Euros fixtures this year across its cosy venue.
