If rum's your drink, then Distill on Argyle Street might just be your heaven in a highball. Formerly known and loved as the Ivy, legal action caused the name change of one of the most popular bars in Glasgow; and let's just say these guys aren't the biggest fans of their former namesake down south. From its sleek and stylish interior to its creative and comprehensive cocktail bar, it's little wonder this bar has retained its fanbase, despite the new alias.
As well as the 100+ rums on offer, there's a generous helping of gins, tequilas, vodkas and beers. Belly-filling comes in the form of gourmet burgers and posh pizzas with some tasty tapas thrown in too. With a solid reputation for drawing some of Scoland's hottest talent to their decks, weekends at Distill see young clubbers getting down and dirty to a heady mix of dance, hip-hop and punk.
