The Butterfly and The Pig

Description

A cute as a button restaurant bar, The Butterfly and The Pig is one of the most memorable venues in Glasgow City Centre. The shabby chic interior of mismatched furniture, floral patterns and clashing wallpaper makes for a whimsical retreat from the hustle of central Glasgow outside. Entertainment seven nights a week offers a cluttered programme of quiz nights, open mics, DJs and live music from resident jazz, blues and rock 'n' roll bands. Late bars at the weekend give you extra time to tear it up.

While The Butterfly and The Pig has its own bar, appetites can be met in the dining room with a selection of tasty homemade comfort foods that match the Granny's House feel of this place. As well as the lunch and dinner offered in the main restaurant, The Butterfly and The Pig also have an adjoining (and slightly posher) Tea Rooms. Expect a mixed bunch of diners staying on for afters, fans of live music, and cool kids making the most of the kooky surroundings.
